can't say i feel sorry for him..............yes he's run the british boxing scene for years, yes he's put on some cracking nights of boxing.........but he's always been out to put one over boxing fans, thing of all the cannon fodder he's fed calzaghe, and told us there world class only to be 1 dimentional punch bags, he was heading to do the same with hatton but ricky jumped ship before warren got his poison in him........... he now does the same with khan, having him fight guys that are way to small, and cant punch...as a result khan thinks he's the best thing since ali, he'll get nailed the first true top fighter he meets.. the simple fact is boxer know if there with warren they'll be fighting at piss poor level, earning warren good money and never get the respect they crave............... like calzaghe.......... good fighters want to hit the big stage, hattons fights have been in vegas where he's now a big name............... he earned as much in the mayweather fight as calzaghes earned in his whole carreer and hattons respected, a big name, and heading for more big bouts... if he stayed with warren he would have continued selling out in mancester fighting john from down the road

Steady now, Hatton don't like fighting his fellow countrymen.. especially if they call him names.

It was a good read and an interesting premise. But what about the current crop of British amateurs? Am I right in saying that some of those look _pretty_ good indeed? Frankie Gavin?

Olympics are coming up, and after that Warren just might have one or two new cash cows stepping up to the plate in two-three years. Or?
