I put Hamed on my list as he failed in his one mega fight with Barrera, all of his other wins were against good opposition but not great as Barrera was. He didn't fight Morales or rematch Barrera so true greatness eludes him and affects his legacy.

I don't think he missed greatness though... I just don't think that he had it in him to ever make it that far.

Brilliant call on these 2.
"El Vita" & "Rocky" 2 fighters that would def. be great if not for the opposition that was around at their respective times.

It really is sad how "Vitas" life ended def. one of the more tragic ones.

Duran was lucky to get through the first round in their first fight, beautiful left hook and Duran did not know what day it was, a comfortable win for De Jesus and if it were not for Duran we would be talking about a true Lightweight great. Valdez was stiff to be fighting at the same time as Monzon, i also included Chucho Castillo because he had that one win against Olivares although contrary to myth and legend he really did lose to Rose who outboxed him over 15 rounds.
