I think Claude Abrams would make a good presenter. In place of Steve Bunce.

Yeah, I can't remember what fight it was on Setanta, but it was Bunce and Abrams.. Abrams was clearly talking to the hardcore boxing fan whereas Bunce was appealing to the casual

bunce is very much your early 90s, don king esque kind of presenter that believes by shouting out his words and making as many critical statements as he can it`ll gain him some fans.

You're almost right Fenster. Just answer me this.

Kosta aside what other world class performers has Hatton put on a world class performance against?

    Castillo?

He's built his legacy on fighting decaying former champs.

He's never beaten a world class prime fighter and when faced merely 'good' prime fighters, Collazo and Urango for example he's almost come undone.

People are making a great deal about his chin being weaker but he's never been able to take a punch. Collazo who has KO'd about as many guys as Sergio Mora had him out on his feet, Lazcano had him holding on for dear life and Floyd who is not a big puncher at 147 completely annihilated him.

He's not an elite fighter, never was and never will be. All the elite fighters with talent and ambition have now moved up to 147 where the action is and Hatton has moved back down to fight amongst a bunch of nobodies.

He's fight Malignaggi, another loser and will win a tough fight to tremendous national aclaim. He'll probably even win Sports Personality of the Year for his 'achievement'

The fact is that the light welter divison is shit right now.

In another 18 months however it will be stacked with new talent.

Gamboa, Khan, Lamont Peterson, Victor Ortiz etc will all be challening for titles and if Hatton is still around and gets predictably slaughtered people will say its because he was done. When in fact its nothing of the sort, it's just that the competition around then isn't around now.

In fact I'd fancy right now all 4 of those above would take Hatton apart.

Another year and he'd best retire because they will all just plain embarrass him.
