Help me out here when Kimbo was in the guillotine... did he tap or was he just doing a thumbs up? Cause I could swear it looked like he tapped on Thompsons arm. I find it fishy they never bothered to replay that part. Also, the ref was too quick to stand them up at one point when Thompson had side control... not even 10 sec and ref stands them.... Those announcers tend to blow everything out of proportion... Comparinng Kimbo to De La Hoya made me laugh so hard I was about to get an asma attack. Thank god it wasn't Roegan lol.

So Kimbo beat Thompson. Big deal. Thompson is just a big ass freak with "an alien life form in his ear" rofl. The only thing that fight proved was that he had a tiny bit more gas then Alien life form... Which is quite bad.

By the way when you're ear is like that shouldn't it been a good idea to drain it before?

The rest of the cards were pretty good putting aside the stoppage due to the thumb. but seriously what do you expect when a fighter tells the doc "I can't see in that eye....."

I just watched the fight. When Kimbo was in the guillotine he was telling the ref that he was ok no tapping did i see. I think the stoppage was slightly premature but Kimbo was hitting him HARD at will so i had no prob with it.

That was a simple well rounded explanation that I agree with 1000000000000%... The ones that are needleing this our the usual ones around here

Yea know, I'm def. not an MMA fan, but of course I'm going to watch it if there is nothing else on. That aside, I think they did a very good job of marketing it. Free and live on a major t.v. network. Those early fights were good to watch, but it was disappointing with the stoppage for the eye poke deal. That fight was going better IMO then any other. Was a very good match up.

I'm not familiar with the rules for stop, but it woul;d hgave been a travesty is the dude who poked the eye had won, because it was after 3 rounds. I mean, wouldn't that sort of rule actually encourage eye gouging?

Fact is Kimbo was suppose to win that! the whole event is to hype him up even more. Everybody but James was going to let it happen.

I give props more to James, just cause his ears pop doesn't mean the fight should be stop. Sure he was stunned at the end but he was also stunned numerous times before that and took the round afterwards.

I like Kimbo but thats the second time he wanted to quit and Yes J.T. i said he lack heart. at the second round he was done, he is hype up to be a beast but couldn't get james off him? get the fck out of here with that shyt. He should of rolled his ars like he has done before. But no he just laid there like a let down. He luck the ref was riding on him as well.

James is an easy guy to hit and james has be ktfo before by lesser hype guys, I really expected kimbo to knock him out but clearly. That fight was good but IMO thats not the kimbo they've been hyping up. And look at his interview, he is dead tired and just wanted to end the interview to rest.

I think they need to work on his stamina first before anything else. His going to end up quiting against another james who will take him into deep water. His actually lucky james stamina is awfull too.

first off.. yes he was stunned at the end, and he was also stunned earlier in the fight.. but in the second round Kimbo nailed him with a solid 5-6 FLUSH shots, and the only reason the fight wasn't over was cause he took kimbo to the ground.. i thought they were going to end it then.. but at the end of the fight, when kimbo was landing those shots, james was out of range to take him down, leaving the ref no choice but to either stop the fight or let kimbo keep tagging him.. that is a fucking EASY call..

and how can you say kimbo couldn't get him off of him.. he did that at least once when james was almost in a full mount..

now, i'm not a huge kimbo fan or anything.. but he definitely won that fight.. i have no question about that.. i do think he has stamina issues and will lose sooner than later.. but to hate on him for his fight last night is absurd..

Dude that was perfect pinpoint accurate analysis... Kimbo was countering all nite on the ground... That scissor sweep of a 265 pound man was awesome, when he was caught in the Kas katame(bad spelling)
