Ive said many times that I would far rather see Floyd fight Cotto than Oscar again or anyone else, and I don't know any real boxing fan who thinks differently. The problem is I'm not stupid and delluded enough to actually expect a fighter to accept far less money for an equal or greater risk, just because it will make me happy. Especially when I realize that therre are still far more people willing to shell out THEIR money to see Floyd fight Oscar than Cotto. It's just beyond pathetic that people still need clarification as to why this fight isn't happening yet.
Decent point.Oh Its fully understood how Mayweather views the Boxing world I believe. I think deep down The majority of Fans understand that Mayweather is indeed all about the Money and doing what he deems most benificial for himself....Financially and Physically....as opposed to giving the fans what they want .Its natural for Fight fans to clammer for two of the highest profile and most talented Fighters in a historically star studded Division, welters, to face off asap.

I will encourage people to not over look Cotto/Margarito as THE Welterweight battle of Note on deck....Its actually signed! Many,Many fans are sleeping and dismissing Tony as a one deminsional, face first brick layer but soon the Cotto VS. Mayweather Talk could be mute Is there any doubt that 'If' Margarito pulls it off and beats Cotto solidly that Mayweather will say "Ya see,Cotto was not ready/or he was overrated". Will he Agree to fight Margarito or fall back on the very same tired pimp-esq mantra "No one knows Margarito and He wont make Me bank".Let the Diva's have there rematch.....I want THIS fight. With the winner "earning" the right to fight King Midas Mayweather.
