It's not Cotto's style, Match. Better to let people form their own opinions. Sooner or later, Floyd's going to get fed up with the "chicken" jokes (or not), and come back to face Cotto (or Margarito, should he win).

One thing I will say: The percentage of people still claiming that Floyd isn't scared of facing Cotto has probably dwindled to a scattered few (including Floyd's immediate family).

Stop with this style nonsense. It wasn't Hatton's style either, but he did what he knew he had to do to make the fight.

Hey... let the fighters fight and the promoters promote, bub. What makes Cotto such a universally liked fighter is that THAT's what he does. Fight.

For some reason I find I don't care that much Maybe its because I don't really believe it. If so he was a great fighter.

This calling out thing is overrated, Floyd made a fight with Hatton cause it was a big money fight that he was most likely going to win, not because Hatton called him out. If he had stayed around he probably would have fought Cotto as well.

And what's gonna cause him to not be able to sleep for the rest of his life is that he didn't directly call out Floyd, bub.

    Lol!

    By default,.. YES HE IS.
Default? Woohoo! The two sweetest words in the English language!.

I'm not really a Pac fan, but I agree that he slides in to the p4p #1 position now.

As for Floyd, if he doesn't have the passion/fire/whatever, then there's no reason to continue fighting, he'd only get hurt. I would have loved to see him fight Cotto, I think he would've won, but if he doesn't want to fight anymore it's his call. Like him or not (and I do not), he'll go down as the best fighter of his generation.

If this is all a publicity stunt though, he can go fuck himself.

Listen, I understand that you 12-year olds have grown up with the mentality that boxers should be calling each other out, like WWF wrestlers do. But in the history of boxing, many ATG fighters have gotten where they are without resorting to calling fighters out, or trash-talking, or threatening to eat each other's children.

That's true, but many champions were not as stubborn as Floyd Mayweather. What part of that don't you get Einstein?

I'm sure he'll be fine. He can always wipe away the tears with hundred dollar bills.

I guess I'll say it again since you're obviously not able to comprehend. Floyd no longer fights based on who your promoter is. He fights based on if he's felt disrespected. I don't seem to recall Frank Warren landing Hatton the fight. I kind of remember Hatton landing the fight, and also, in case you're illiterate, you'll notice that my first post in this thread was saying I'm ONLY pissed at Floyd, and Cotto will simply regret not calling him out. You'll also notice from previous posts that I think Cotto is the only one with a shot to beat Floyd. So do the board a favor and remove Miguel's penis from your sphincter. I'm through with you cyber tough guy
