Congratulations to THE NEW WBC Light Middleweight Champion The Latin Snake!

I was wrong and I am glad he proved me wrong. I was not the only one who thought Sergio could not pull this one off.

I did say I wanted to hear them announce him as Champion.


How many of you picked Sergio to win?

Diane? Majesty? Bilbo? Anyone else?

I know that CFH was rooting for Sergio but he too thought Sergio would not pull it off. It's ok bro, I was wrong too.

I really did not think he was going to win it either. I put the fights on late and expected to see the results with a UD or TKO in Forrest favor but it was the 10th round still. Sergio Mora did a great job and earned the belt that is for sure.

He belongs at 154 though. At 160 I don't care how well he did against Vernon Forrest he stands no chance against beating Kelly Pavlik for the Middleweight title.

Nothing personal against him because at the moment no one else at 160 stands a chance either.

I was at the fight last night and let me tell Forrest won the 1st 4 rounds easily I thought, and then Sergio just stepped it up and gutted it out and kept working, when he used the jab he was very effective but at times it was like he forgot to throw it, I was yelling throw the damn jab(not that he was listening to me)

Make no bones about it he took some solid shots from Forrest but he worked real hard on the inside. 1/2 way through the fight most of us were cheering his name for the 12th we were on our feet and most of us were chewing our lips waiting for the desicion, I though they were gonna screw him, but the judges did the right thing.... Mora showed true grit, Moxy and poise and came prepared. Sergio went from a TV contender to Tru blue Champion... Congrats Sergio

I thought Mora was going get smashed. But he didn't. Much respect to him. I never liked Forrest punk ass. So I had no problem seeing him lose
