Also though, bearing that in mind, I`d rather be fishing right now with tv, telephones and the internet being the last of my concerns.

True. I never use the home phone, and hardly use my mobile{no friends has its advantages}, but I love my history channel, tennis channel, national geo, and animal planet, plus all the fights. Seems every time I want to watch something the sh#t won't work
At least I don't have neighbors![]()
Yes, come a slight rain and no TV for you (unless you've got plenty of movies to watch).
However, one good thing about satellite is the instant TV guide. Not sure if it's different over there, but over here in south Georgia, you can easily check to see what shows are coming on, plus you can see information about which show/episode, etc. is coming on. And you can do it while keeping it on one channel! Whereas in town you have to turn it to a boring lame ass TV guide channel. It always scrolls so slow, so you get bored and have to entertain yourself by doing something to wait for it to get to the channel you want to view, but then you lose track of time and by the time you turn it there again, it's went by, so you have to start all over again. Not to mention the shitty ass music it plays.![]()
