LMAO.... why would Oscar ever fight Luis Collazo?
I swear to god, I've never seen a case where more is made of 7 lbs than with your boy Hatton. I'm a daft twat, please. You are probably the most delluded, immature poster on this site and anyone who knows dick all can see it. For christs sake, he fights at ONE weight class above the weight he's been at his entire career, and he's supposed to this totally innefective, completely different fighter, even when he had TWO chances to add the weight properly. How bout Manny Pacquiao who takes the best punches 130 has to offer when he was fighting at 112(and had been KO'ed) while Hatton was still at 140. What does that say about Hatton if he can't handle moving up 7 lbs, so much so that he can't even take a semi decent punch at that weight. Can you think of one other fighter in history who gets the same tag?? They were this monter in one division, but move up one weight class and they were totally out of their depth? Of course you can't, because it's not the case. It has a lot less to do with how effective Hatton is at Welter, but more with how there are BETTER fighters than him at the weight. That's why he's considered so good at 140 but not Welter, his opponents aren't on the same level. He can't take a good punch at any weight, Collazo doesn't hit nearly as hard as several fighters in Hatton's division such as Torres or Holt. Urango probably hit harder too, he just didn't have the skill to land much on Hatton. But hey, what's really the use in arguing. Hatton will be remembered as the good fighter he is who caught Tszyu at the right time, but nothing more. Go cry about it.
First of all, just because he wasn't floored doesn't mean he walked through Collazo's shots. Secondly, Hatton was about as close to being floored as you can get without actually dropping. He was badly hurt. I remember watching that, as someone who was cheering for Hatton, thinking he was lucky to make it out of the round.
And I thought your little vacation had done you some good.

I think my reasons in the first post are okay reasons.. Nothing much more..
What am i to say?.. Of course i am a fan Lol.. I mean most have seen only the hatton and mosely fights.. and the lucky ones maybe the gonzalez fight or the rivera fight or both and that even suprises me when they have..
But i been following collazo for ages.. he was one of my fave prospects since about 14-0 Course that stopped there but he kept winning afterwards and i just admire his style of fighting..
Frankly i think there isnt enough excuses to say why he has been so inactive since the hand healed up after mosely.. Although he has had at least a couple fighters pull out on him and Mr King isnt really doing his job at present..
the way i feel is people believe he is somewhat in the mix.. but i think he is right up in the mix but just needs an opponent to show it..
as of right now im saying shit yeah oscar fight is great, but i wouldnt say it after sept 20.. its just oscar has the date.. he needs an opponent and i'd like luis to be given a shot, cos i think he can do it.. especially against oscar i think the style match up great.. if it was after then i would say no oscar has bigger fish to fry and i would rather see a cintron fight..
But of course now oscar is saying one more fight.. not two.. that bieng the case..
Dont fight luis collazo..
Luis collazo for me.. Ideally.. Oscar next.. Thats a bit of a long shot..
but long shots aside perfect couple matchups.. Nelson linares (Eliminator).. not sure which title.. But i definately fancy his chances better against the next wbc champ or paul williams.. hes in the mix but im not optimistic about marg or cotto.. so title fight and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ..Hatton rematchLol
And Boozeboxer said it earlier.. 154 could be a great move.. 7 pounds is not an issue for a skilled enough fighter.. not for sugar shane, not for oscar, not for tito, not for forrest, not for julio.. (examples) So recognition comes at 147.. then why struggle to make weight later when there is business to be had at 154
Keep runnin' ricky
