When did this become a condolence thread? He's just a crook who died today. That some people believe he's worth feeling sorry over is entirely up to them.

Russert is emblematic of journalists being replaced by corporate lawyers and placemen who have motives and agendas in direct opposition to the values and ideals of a free press.
