If the heat wasn't turned up in his fight with Marquez, I'm not sure exactly when that would be the case in your opinion? If your implying that Marquez didn't always press forward and force the action, well of course not... But that would've hardly suited him to inflict more damage on Manny. I mean Diaz will try and give a gritty come forward showing because that's the only way he knows how to fight, but I expect that to give Manny very little trouble as opposed to smart counterpunching and lateral movement. Standing right in front of Pacquiao being the agressor hasn't worked in the slightest for anyone besides Erik Morales, and Diaz is to Morales as excrement is to food.

I agree im not exactly sure what Game meant with his comments ?? the 2nd half of the Marquez vs Pacquiao 2 fight was very heated. Pacquiao had to really dig deep he was badly stunned to the head and body. Pacquiao in the past has struggled in the past in some messy fights, and Diaz does have the style to create that kind of fight. But Pacquiao is far too skilled and strong for Diaz who is far too open. Diaz is tough and not to be underestimated but i just can't see him beating Pacquiao in a battle of punches, especially with Pacquiao's better punch technique and surperior hand speed.

Diaz is a natural lightweight and he brawls with Morales

He went down and up again and manage to win

This will be a tough fight for Manny, tougher than JMM IMO

    But Pac will prevail

    Unanimous decision

If its any tougher than Pac vs JMM 2 Pac will lose, Pac had to really dig deep in some rounds where he looked very shaky. No way Diaz will be as tough as JMM physically or style wise.

I think that's really all that needs to be said right there... He is the naturally bigger guy, but he went life and death, and imo lost to the CORPSE of a great bantam-featherweight champion who was coming off a one sided 3 rd beating at the hands of Pac. Yet Morales was able to drop Diaz, hurt him and match his pace almost the whole 12 rounds with no legs. Assuming Pacquiao isn't about to become a shot fighter overnight(though he isn't getting any better), why the hell should he have any trouble landing at will on David Diaz, outworking him, taking his punch, doing anything? THis is a mismatch and the only people who say otherwise do so in order to make it seem more impressive when Pac wins. Of course he could make a big statement if he just steamrolls him etc, and I do expect Diaz to hang around and keep coming while he still can. But to think that this fight alone is an indication of Pacquiao's worth at lightweight I just can't buy it. If he beat Nate Campbell, Juan Diaz or Guzman(don't think he'll ever fight him) then it proves he's a legit champion at the weight. I'll include Casamayor as well but I'm not really convinced he has as much left as some seem to. Katsidis isn't much better than David Diaz imo.

Marquez vs Pac was very heated ? In round 8 Pac was quinting and ready to quit even Roach admitted it but Marquez stood off . It goes against all his natural moves to go in for the kill so he let Manny off teh hook in that round. Im not saying Diaz will ever be in the same position but if he is be sure Diaz will not do teh same thing . He will charge in wrecklessly with elbows low blows and just look to hit Manny everywhere with uneducated poorly timed/ innaccurate shots and the last time Manny had to deal with this he wasnt sucessful . ie Sanchez .

Lol! You just love to believe everything negative about Pac. Roach predicts a KO win by Pac against Diaz. I bet you don't believe him for that now, cuz it a positive thing for Pac.

Someone asked where I heard it it from and I supplied a quote. Dont get so defensive . I didnt say I beleive it but it wouldnt surprise me if it was true.

It also said Pac looked shocked when he was announced winner vs Marquez and I agree , he was .
