lol c'mon guys...facebook is good. I'm thinking you guys either have never tried it, or just don't have any friends to add.
Someone mentioned starting a facebook group for this site, I think it was clubber, and I wouldn't mind that but I'd prob. make a diff. account for it. I got like 250 people on my current facebook and are all my local classmates and people I've met in real life, or other boxers i've met. Most of the girls are highschool 15-18 and got pics of themselves in short shorts and lil tank tops and vids of them swinging their booties and singing and giggling.
Just too much of a buffet to put it out there to you old group of perverts...![]()

i hated facebook more than myspace.. i haven't had either for years now, but with facebook, everyone from my high school ( i was in college at the time ) that i didn't ever talk to, nor wanted to talk to, starts friending me just because they wanted more friends, or something.. It was just all so fake and silly that i couldn't be a part of it anymore..
plus the shit that i had on my pages, as far as people leaving me comments/wall postings and my pictures, were not suitable if a job that i applied for happened to look me up..
already if you search my name on yahoo, you see me passed out drunk on my friends carpet.. i need to get rid of that one!

This is the exact problem i had with facebook. I fuckin hate fake people, and have no interest in competing to see who is the most popular and has the most fake friends.
No offence to anyone on facebook/myspace, i can see how it could be fun or whatever. I just couldnt deal with all the people i havent seen in 5 years that all of a sudden "cared" what i was up to. Maybe im just antisocial...lol.

ha, exactly..
i got myspace in 2004 BEFORE it was cool.. I had friendster and then this myspace thing came up and i joined.. and i had like 70 friends for the longest time cause no one had it.. and it was actually pretty cool because you met new people and stuff, but then 70 friends went to 450 because everyone in a 25 mile radius added me as a friend.. and then the only friend requests i got were Bands in the area that wanted more friends, and every new message i got was some sort of promotion for something.. it became ruined, and is now the Myspace today that everyone loves.. sickening.
Facebook, definitely
Facebook for me. By a mile. I do have a myspace account, but has checked it like 5 times in my life (has had it for 1½ year).
Facebook is good for keeping track of friends, you dont see that often. I have friends in a bunch of countries, and needless to say, it's not everyday you talk together. Hell, it isnt even every day you feel like emailing either. I never - unless birthdays or the like - write on people's walls, as quite frankly I very rarely have something to say that I think the world should be interested in. I do write people messages once in a while though, as a facebook-message does seem less formal than an email and therefore fullfils a certain purpose for me. Applications are, as a general rule, from hell, and no, I dont want to add them, just because you did.
BTW after reading this I did a search on 'Saddo' on there. On the first two pages of groups these (among others) came up: "Only saddo's wear leather jackets', "Who hates saddo's that you dont know, requesting you as friends?', "Saddo's should be shot up the arse!!!!" and "We dont care what you think saddo!".
I use facebook.

I think there are ways to prevent this. One of them is to have people add you or request by putting your real name on an option or your personal email. That way, you know only people that are really close to you will add/request. Also, there's a function where the person has to write a word that appears on the screen. I think its called "gotcha function" or something. Just like when you buy a ticket online. That prevents spammers from sending you their junk. I hate it too when I get messages from slutty fake-boob whores "You wanna have some fun tonight? Add me!"So far had 2 weirdo spams
Did Hi5 die?

hahaha yeah yeah.. i searched yahoo not that long ago and i'm pretty sure it's gone from there.. so i'm cool with that.. at least facebook pics are easy to take down.. i'm close to deleting my facebook again anyway.. the only thing it's really good for involves women. if i meet a girl out somewhere, have a good conversation etc, i can find her on facebook see if she has a boyfriend and not make a fool of myself by asking her out the next time i talk to her if she does.. Also girls take some great pics, and i don't mind looking at them. With that said, i can live without both of those reasons and get rid of all of the other bullshit like how some guy Steve is no longer in a relationship.. or that he posted a picture of his dog and 10 people commented on it.

Yea I tend to agree for the most part on its use for girls. That is primarily what mine is for, not the saddo one...but my hometown one. It's effective. I use it also for boxing and have quite a few canadian amateurs and coaches on it also...so it helps keep us organized some on what is happening and where. Plus being called a fag or told I smell every 2nd post by friends is something I've sorta just grown fond of.
I think if I were in the job market, for career-oriented work, I would be more mindful of who gets to see what for obvious reasons.
lol I hope you don't change that pic now RP33. It's a classic.

I joined myspace recently for the sole purpose of collecting bandsI got a message from Stan Lee of The Dickies, sweet.
So far had 2 weirdo spams, 1 sex pervert who I'm giving 2 days to redeem himself or he's off the list.
Good thing about the bands is I can keep track of when they're on tour all from one location rather than go from site to site. So yes if you're in to picking up perverts and to lazy to check a bands website, go for it.
