Boxing may come Back to CBS

Boxing really does IMO need a free access big network affiliation if it is going to regain any formal glory and attract new fans in significant numbers. I don't know if it is possible in this climate, but I want it to be.

Most people have no idea who Cotto is, or who Pac is etc etc. But they know who Jeff Gordon is even if they don't like Nascar, because it is on tv. I don't watch MMA much, but I was tuned in for that Kimbo excite fight, because it was there...and learned a few names and sorta enjoyed it. Would likely watch another.

It would bring a new generation of fans to the sport, and this sport I believe is greatly needing that. Not sure that is makes sense for network executives in the dollar and cents way they operate...but one can only hope.
