It's a great story. I can see it.
I would love to see it being big Roy Jones Jr fan i think Jones deserves to go out on top like he rightfully should of done after Ruiz fight. Jones has a good right hand lead and i can see him leaping in with that punch and catching Calzaghe by surprise and off balance and knocking him down. And Jones does still have enough power to turn a fight around like he did against Hanshaw when he landed that beautiful 3 punch combo, the only thing im worried about is Jones lay's on the ropes too much and i can see Calzaghe getting a BS stoppage while Jones is on the ropes.
Yeah Jones does tend to hold his hands high and just stay on the ropes. and Joe does throw alot so a stupid ref may make teh wrong decision but I dont think Jones gets stopped . Infact I think he is right in the fight and will do well early .

As he tires though Joe changes gears and he tends to always find a way to win . I cant see any boxer dealing with Joe when he is like this . He will outwork Jones and take a points decision .

I don't know when or where, but this fight, if it happens, will be the sleeper of the year. Roy will put up a much better fight than people anticipate and he still has a very good chance of winning. But look for Calzaghe to eke out a narrow UD.
    Oops

    Heard September in LasVegas.

As for the fight Calzaghe will dominate this version of Jones who does the two things you cannot do against Calzaghe and thats go to the ropes and take time of in the fight.

Roy will be puffing like a steam train after 6rds thats assuming he makes it to the 6th.

Horrible match up and a terrible way for Joe to end his career its Legacy suicide.

Im going to put my neck on the line and say Jones wins this by TKO i think had B Hop took the risk in the first round he could have stopped calzaghe with in a 4 rounds but he wouldn't waste his gas.
