I think after last night Jones could win
Roy COULD win but now since he's well past his prime and went through a stage of being gunshy I think Joe will take a pretty easy UD overwhelming RJJ with the amount of punches thrown.
I would have loved to see them fight 5-6 years ago...it would have been an all around great fight with two fighters at their peak!
theres nothing to gain in beating jones now, the biggest win possible for joe is pavlik.
Pavlik and Calzaghe would be the fight I'd look forward to. IMO joe kinda showed his age as well as hopkins did in yesterdays fight. Pavlik will be the toughest fight for anybody out there. Plus IMO Pavlik is still on the rise to his prime. If Joe can manage to beat Pavlik soon, that would be joes greatest win but thats a huge IF.
Joe wins easily. Jones is past his best. It would have been spectacular a decade ago.
I think this fight will happen next. A win would be a nice feather in the cap for both fighters. I slightly favor Jones but I could see either guy winning. Definately will happen though.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
I don't even think this is a question. Calzaghe wins this on easily. What really has RJJ done lately? Not much his last quality win IMO was 5 years ago against Tarver. It would be nice for Joe to get a nice payday but if we're talking quality fights, how about Chad Dawson?

Joe can't keep beating up on these OAP's sooner or later he's going to get an ASBO
We're not talking quality fights, we're talking money fights.
Jones is a big name and will help sell the Millenium stadium out and he'll make an exciting fight. Joe gets a win and a nice pension fund top-up.
Jones has a very good right hand lead which will cause Calzaghe a lot of problems, i wouldn't be surprised if Jones decked Calzaghe.
Yeah but he hasn't had the power or the flash since he got KO'd twice
Its not so much the power of the shot Lyle, The speed and timing of the shot would shock Calzaghe similar to how Hopkins floored Calzaghe with timing but Hopkins isn't nowhere near as fast as Jones, remember even though Jones is past his prime. He would still be the fastest guy Calzaghe has ever fought by far.
RJJ still hasn't been the same since those fights ....he has fought 3 fights since he went 0-3 losing twice by KO to Tarver and Johnson.
In those 3 fights: Ajamu, Hanshaw, and Trinidad he never once won by KO when if he was in his prime he would have destroyed those guys
Roy Jones Jr. would be overwhelmed.. Joe is too good when you don't move around. When an opponent moves in straight lines, and not very fast anymore is when Calzaghe can use angles, his punch output to win a fight. Kessler was a comparable athlete to Calzaghe, but Calzaghe's strength lies in his endurance which is why he has been so good, not because he is lightning quick or a technical god, but because he will outwork you. Put Prime ROy in there and Calzaghe would have looked ordinary, put a prime Hopkins in there and Calzaghe would have looked pretty ordinary, but put an old Roy in there and Calzaghe would look great, or at least the better of the two.
Roy doesn't have the legs. Even though Hopkins legs aren't what they used to be they're still better than Roy's
