I agree Jermain has gotten a very bad shake and even his competition has been criticized which is just ridiculous to me. He fought B Hop twice and beat him twice no matter how you feel it went, it was close enough each time and I don't think Jermain lost either.

Then he went and fought the number 2 P4P guy in the world in Winky and they put on a really good fight. I thought Wright won and am still pretty bitter about that but again it was close.

I can see how people didn't like him versus Spinks and at that time he was getting sold down the river for not fighting Edison Miranda of all people. Then gave Pavlik his chance in two competitive fights.

Yet people hate Jermain Taylor. I said before the Pavlik fight that if I could put one fight on national broadcast TV that year it was that one. I don't think I was far off. Very well spoken, nice guy I'm rooting for him at 168.
