I saw Saving Private Ryan for the first time last year during my psychology class, watched it two classes in a row. That class was right after lunch so I was able to get stoned and watch it, have to say one of the best movies I've ever seen. I mean that had so many great elements of movie making, it had a little bit of everything. That was such a great movie.

I hate how some movies are disqualified from academy award nominations. Why can't they nominate Kill Bill? That deserved a prize, came out to great reviews and had something for everyone. Yet I doubt it even got a name drop in the Academy Awards. I'm just sick of every single movie having to be a film that 90% of people haven't seen just because the Academy are full of elitist snobs. Why the hell did Juno get so much love but not Superbad? Because of the sing songy gayness it had? Because of it's progressive themes

They make me sick. And how the hell did Vigo not get the Oscar last year? Did anyone see Eastern Promises? Fucking ridiculously awesome movie, probably the only movie in which there can be a fight scene in a sauna with two men and still be considered badass. That movie was crazy.

Ok so he lost to Daniel Day Lewis who was a badass in his movie too. So I guess that's OK. The Oscars haven't been so bad lately. There Will Be Blood, Eastern Promises, No Country For Old Men, three great movies. That other movie was gay though, and Eastern Promises was far better then the very overrated Michael Clayton.

I don't know what I'm typing here I'm exhausted on the verge of passing out typing nonsense probably.

A few nights ago I rewatched Down And Out In Beverly Hills and started thinking that I wouldn't mind screwing Bette Middler.

Don't let Lyle see this - not long ago he was talking about seeing Kathy Bates naked in About Schmidt. Thankfully I haven't seen that movie, but the mere mental image still has me in need of some psychiatric help.
