The problem was Cortez, he jumps in to seperate them then steps back and lets them go. Then he jumps in as Soto is already in "forward progress" (if I may use that term) throwing punches.

I thikn the call was correct according to the rules BUT the ref. was at fault here so theres a shady gray area there for me.

If it is a draw, then the champ keeps the belt. Why have a rematch?

The match was for the vacant title so I'm assuming the WBC is keeping the title vacant.

What i worry about is Lorenzo, no way he is going to beat Soto in a rematch and he could get hurt badly. I hope they have a ref who will bring about a quick stoppage when things start going badly for Lorenzo, that will be about round 3 or 4!

Sorry guys I thought Soto had the belt. Still I think a rematch when one guy is outmatched is stupid anyway you go about it.

instead of a draw it should have been a no contest and there's really no need for a rematch. soto should move on to bigger things.

If a Pac fight gets offered to Soto I think he will take that instead at lightweight. Ive heard its a possibility but its high risk low reward for Pac so probably wont happen

He should be WBC champ IMO . Cortez is useless

If anything I think Soto is just the perfect opponent of Pac. Sotos got credibility and honestly he is a FAR more better fighter then Diaz.
I never gave Diaz chance in hell in that fight...

At the same time I don't see Pac moving down to SFW he knows very well that the money is at LW & LWW. Something tells me he'll take on the winner of Casa-JMM...

My mouths watering at a possible fight in Pac vs. Casa... Oh! my god!
