I so want to go to Alberta or British Columbia; beautiful country. I almost moved to British Columia in 91'; as my mom's cousin lives there. But they were a logging family and lived in caves or something, and I wanted to do something with my life. So I stayed in Tx. and became a loser
Come to B.C. Legion. You'll love all the sanctimonious hippies who'll tell you how to live you life.

At least Vancouver gets a lot of good metal shows.

In all honesty though, B.C. is one of, if not the, most beautiful places I have ever seen.

I wish I could; I'm a cold weather, mountain loving freak. Would be very difficult getting my pit bulls and snakes over the border though My sister lives in Portland but might be moving to Vancouver with her husband from what my mom says. The farther away the better. Please, when you see her, push her off that bridge you were talking about
It's not too cold here in South-West B.C., though I'm sure it would feel arctic compared to Texas (how can you live in Texas if you hate the heat?). I was in Abbotsford for a few days and at one point it was 38 degrees celsius.

I went to Portland a few years ago for a vacation and to see Social Distortion. It was one of the most boring places I have ever been. I was sorely disappointed with that city.

It all depends where you live. Most of the U.S. experiences colder temperatures than we do where I live. Most of the time it doesn't even snow here in winter and the temp. rarely goes much below 0, though the rest of Canada can be very cold.

Sounds like paradise, I hate the heat. It rains a lot here too, but I kind of like the rain. We don't get near as much as in Vancouver or Seattle either.

I came close to moving to Alaska 8 years ago and Colorado 3 years ago; but always something keeping me in this sh#thole Texas. And of course all my animals are going to be very difficult to transition to a new place. At least I'm out in the sticks and away from people But I hate heat and live like Smeagol did under the mountain. Luckily my girlfriend makes a ton of $$$ or I would have to actually do something again and get out in the sun I've been spoiled for the last 3 years and turned into a hermit.

    As usual I've ruined someone else's thread....again

    Use farenheit.
Farenheit is both confusing and outdated. Also, the metric system fucking rules all. Viva la revolution!

Trailer Park Boys really is a fair representation of most of us. I can hear the police helicopter circling downtown as I type this.
