That Luis Yanez kid is off the U.S. Olympic boxing team

p4pking there is countries out there that have more than a chance. The other countries teams might not be loaded with as much talent as the us squad but talent doesn't always win. Sure coach k has actually tried to make this a team this time around by having it be a two year process instead of just a bunch of players being thrown on a roster to play together, still doesn't compare to the other countries where in many cases the people playing together have been doing so for nearly a decade. Also the talent disparity is not as big as it used to be, many of the countries have one or two guys playing in the nba and being rather sucessful at it.

This is horrible news, the kid definately has skill, maybe in time he'll just turn pro.

That's good news. They have been having news stories here in Dallas every other night about the situation. Since my t.v.'s been down for 2 days I haven't heard sh#t, but good to know he got reinstated.
