That was something buried way in the back of my mind but I've heard it somewhere. I know that when you get an ear infection they tell you to get up slowly and if you can to take a bath ask you to take baths instead of showers because your balance is all messed up.

Now that you mention it my sister has had bad ear infections her whole life and my mom used to make her take baths when she'd get them; guess that's what the dr. told her to do.

Also so the water wouldn't run into the ear.
