I would take into consideration level of competition but even more so the quality of rounds Valero has had.He can crack but I think Pac would dissect him as the rounds build. His defense is .....sparse & he looks wide and badly over reaches at times.
I had read that Texas has Granted him a clearance to fight there??

Yea same thing I hear, he can fight in Texas.
I think come fight night valero's punching will have little to no affect on pac, pac has taken everything from the best punchers in the world and hasn't been drop since he was a bantamweight. Pac is now a lightweight, not only is pac power foreal his chin is solid. the ko he suffered early in his career were from the lowest weight classes. Being drain makes fighter weaker but being in the division they suit more makes them stronger. Pac and Cotto is two great recent examples of rock hard body and chin going up in weight.
I think VAlero is soft, most fighters that get overhype due to there power usually fold under real pressure. I think pac is going to scrape valero up for a few rounds then knock him out.

I hear ya but Don't get me wrong,I don't think Pac should go in and make it a who has the hardest chin contest. He should fight smart, look to box and let Valero come forward in spotsl.I think Pac can exploit Valeros leaky defense bigtime early on & when the timing is right but Pac also needs to respect the pure power of an hungry undefeated Champion.

Julius my friend, regardless of how crappy Valero's opponents are except Mosquera his punching power is undeniable.
Pac also fought BUMS early in his career but he wasnt able to take them out in 1 round, 18 first round consecutive kayos and 100% kayo ratio is Guiness book of world records type stuff.
I agree PAC should box smartly here ala PAC-DIAZ (even more cautiously).

Barry McGuigan says Valero is one of the best p4p fighters in the world
Experts eh?![]()

Pac and Valero's resume can not be compared, valero is already 27 and his still fighting BUM's pac by 24 already brutally defeated marco. Pac always had the better oppenents since day one of pacs career. They never put anybody in with valero that had a pulse til he couldn't beat the 19 straight 1st round record. They hyped valero up like that but only after he couldn't get the record did they test valero just a little with mosquera. Thats actually valero's only good win and his already going up near 30 years of age. Talk about pampered record man.

Your talking like a pure hater. You either don't know or choose to ignore the fact that Valero until recently was not allowed to fight in the US. That right there is to blame for his poor opposition. Name a good fighter that would of gone to Japan and fought him? You can't. Cuz nobody would of done it. Valero has faced a lot of bums. But he's done what he's suppose to do with them. He's destroyed them. You can deny Valero's power if you want. But the great Erik Morales himself said Valero can punch. And Erik Morales opinion carries a lot more weight than yours.
