Wow, just saw it, the butt I'm sure was accidental but still obviously was a huge factor.

Holt's such an odd fighter, can be explosive or boring as hell. Seems like its always one or the other. Chinny as hell but he can test your chin too.

The head butt was the only factor this guy got knocked out. It may have been accidental but it severely hurt torres to the point that he had no defence. Terrible luck for Torres.

I haven't read through the thread yet. I wanted to state my opion without influence.

The headbutt stunned Torres. Sure. But what caused the KO was Torres trying to hold himself up with the ropes instead of just taking the knockdown.

nearly missed this one, as was dozing off to sleep (was around 4am or so over here) during the peterson fight and suddenly woke up with torres & holt being introduced, blink and you'd miss it sort of job, what a round though. Unlucky for torres with the head clash/butt, i thought it was gonna be him to finish it early goin on the first 30 seconds. Surely they'll be a holt torres 3. Oh well atleast the klitchsko/thompson fight next week is at a normal hour for us in the uk, so no dozing off to sleep

Have not seen the fight only the highlights on ESPN but Torres reminded me a lot of Ricardo Mayorga especially when he knocked him down the second time, squared up hands coming from his hips. Then saw Torres on the ropes and they showed a huge right hand come and knock his block off.

    Did they show Lamont Peterson?

That was just a crazy round. I thought Torres had him for sure after the second KD, but even before that he was being far to reckless I thought. Probably the single most devestating headbutt I have ever witnessed in terms of impact on a fighter, and it no question made him a sitting duck for that big shot from Holt. But Torres really does only have himself to blame for throwing caution to the wind like that, the way he was winging shots it could just as easily have been a short punch from Holt instead of the butt. Torres also really weaved right into it, his jaw connected right above Holts eye, just a bad spot. Third fight definetly makes sense, I think both of these guys are ultra vulnerable but it's great action.

Yeh,Torres really rushed in for the finish.I'd like to see a third match. They showed Peterson,Solid hooks to the body and tight shots but really let up on Castaneda when He had him going early. He closed the show late for TKO but just looks so sporadic at times as far as Intensity. Before he gets in the top tier,He needs to face some serious adversity Imo....He likes to look good but coast's.
