Wow! man...

May he rest in peace, thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Really sad to read this. I had the pleasure of meeting Mando at last yrs. WBHFame out here in Los Angeles. He needed a cane to walk but he still looked good. Despite having suffer 2 heart attacks at such a young age.
He did look overweight but I figured it was nothing major. I know he had a pace maker so I'm really curious to know why he passed.

Mando wasn't the most gifted but he had a lot of heart and will to win. He quickly became popular out here in Cali because of that grit and fighter he was scoring some spectacular KOs and displaying lots of power. Hes from the LB (long beach) the popularity of him out here quickly got the best of him though lots of stories of him partying and clubbing with the ladies was often seen. Happy guy and loved the night life and he loved it a little too much. Sadly that night life is what IMO cost him what could have been a much more sucessful and decorated career.

His fight with Chango Carmona is a fan fav. out here in and I'm sure for those who have seen it will agre. It's crazy to think that he is the youngest Lightweight champ ever. It's even crazier to think that he promised himself he would do just that.
