Something has to be done about Promoter Ahmet Oner, from Arena in Germany he is getting away with murder and is bringing the sport down.

He mainly came to notice the other week during the Danny Williams v Konstantin Airich, his performance only marginally overshadowed by the worst referee I have ever seen.

He -

1. Was in the corner every round despite not being listed as a second
2. Rang the bell half way through a round when his fighter was on the verge of being stopped
3. Took the towel from the seconds hand and threw it in the ring to end the fight.

Tonight once again he was up to his tricks again in the fight between Samil Sam and Vidoz, he again was in the corner every round shouting through the ropes or standing in the corner issuing orders.

Then before the scores had been announced he was down checking the judges scorecards, then after obviously disagreeing with them he had a stand up argument with a certain judge, slamming his fist on the desk and pointing at the judges card and arguing about the scoring of certain rounds. The arguments continued and were heated enough for both fighters to know the score before it was announced.

He seems to be a law to his own and thinks he can get away with what he wants, the authorities have to do something he is getting worse with every show.

Yer he is a complete prick tbh but thats always been German boxing.

At least we can say Danny Williams went over there and destroyed Germanys biggest two talents!

I can write my ass off giving more or less good points why it ain't so...but there will be always idiots like you coming along stating unfounded crap...so why bother...

I feel the same way about many other subjects but I digress...

I have to say that I don't necessarily agree with his statement above as it was said in quite the bold manner... But I think there are shades of truth to it.

I don't think that German Boxing is the problem per say... I think(as Mick said) it's the commision that needs to straighten this shit out... It's rather rediculous and I actually HAVE seen this tool mascarading around like he owns the fuckin joint... Seriously... Ringing the bell? He should have been escorted out and fined.

As far as What was said above, the reason I say this holds a little truth is the fact that I have heard on countless occasions that fighters won't go back to Germany to fight(I love this cuz if the money's right most would fight on the moon)

I personally think that these problems with scoring, judges, whack ass promoters, and gift decisions could all be stemmed by a good commision which Germany(alone with many other places) is lacking.
