Because a pregant dairy goat gives milk and then you could raise the baby and eat it. A dairy goat gives enough milk for the kid and for you too.


The sow would have lots of baby pigs that you could eat. I think you could cross the pigs at least once on thier mom and get by.


I don't want a child by another guy on my island.



I guess I could have 2 of one kind of animal that are unrelated but I wasn't planning on being there for more than a few years. YOu would run into inbreeding problems with just two of anything anyway however.

yeah I would prefer a milk cow because I don't like goats but it might be hard for a cow to rustle up enough to eat, depending on the size of the island. Anyway a goat and a pig could easily find enough to eat.


I also always carry my pocket knife so I was taking that as a given. But yeah I think the worst thing on a island would be the lack of good food. I mean you would get tired of fucking coconuts or shallow water fish and sea food llife I bet pretty quick.
