Got asked this over the weekend and had to give it some serious thought.
The items can be as impratical as you like just so long as nobody starts claiming genie lamps or pamela andersons left boob.

1.) A laptop computer (assuming it worked and I didn't have any issues recharging it)
2.) My PS3 (also assuming it worked)
3.) TV

I'd take suntan lotion, a large umbrella and Bear Grylls.
I'd presume he was allowed to take 3 things as well which I guess would be a plastic bottle, a knife and some twine.
I'd lie on the beach under the umbrella and wait for him to build a raft and get us rescued.

For sure a gun to shoot shit with to eat...plus if there was nothing, to make it a quick ending. Who the hell wants to starve to death? It's a horrible way to go.
A guide to what plants are edible. This screws up more people in the wild, eating stuff that looks good then you end up dilirious and looking like a pufferbelly blowfish.
