Just downloading these songs now, you can always download Wavepad to do the thing Donny suggested. That is awesome plus it's free, what kind of music is he into?
Personally for me it would be close between Grinspoon - Champion, thats always a good choice, Let the bodies hit the floor is pretty common I would think so not that, but I really have no idea what I would choose.
Scrap, that song just finished and to be honest if a boxer came out to that I would cry with laughterI reckon if you cut it at "And it's not a place I have to hide in" and then put in some harder music you would have one sweet intro. Or you could always go Hard to be humble - Mac Davis, that would set the mood.
