Winky is notorious for pricing himself out of fights. He is not nearly as popular as he preceives himself. He has turned down/priced himself out of numerous fights since losing to Hopkins.
He did at least flat out refuse to fight Kessler this spring, saying 'what has he ever done to deserve that?', a fight HBO was interested in setting up.

Never made it to the negotiation stage, so dunno if a lot of money could have made Winky change his mind. Does IMO show though that at least Winky rates himself higher (or more valuable) that the networks do.
