Im mean losing to and then beating "Neon Leon" to win it back....Not the greatest story ever...

All the other records though...what a legend.

Cleaning the greatest era of heavyweights out twice 10yrs apart is not hype.
I never said it was...Im just saying losing to Neon Leon and then winning in the re-match to win the championship the 3rd time isnt the amazing story it's made out to be,Considering Leons circumstances...Getting blitzed and not being able to handle the fame such and such.

    Everything else though..Obviusly amazing.

Ali by 36 was in boxing terms 45yo he was in more wars than anyone i can remember. Plus by 78 was slurring like a mofo and Doc Ferddie said he caught Ali taking Levodopa in the Coopman fight in 75 and he thinks he see that bottle in Zaire.

Look say what you want about the ring but i think Evander deserves the credit of atleast a three time champion and if you count ruiz he at least held if four times. That has never been done before so i give him that but thats just me. Thing i dont gte with Holyfeild is he never in pound pound lists i mean he may not be top ten but he is atleast 25 or 50 just wanted to through that out there as well sorry if i am rambling should just make a thread for it.

I guess to countercat that point, one could argue, he beat Spinks when he was already feeling the touch of Parkinsons syndrome.

All I can say is Leon Spinks. That was a legit belt.
