Put Wladimir in with some decent all-time heavyweight competition that gave past greats their tough times and Wlad still wins....for argument's sake we'll conceed Wlad loses to the top greats and we'll just focus on who those guys beat to make them great: Ken Norton, Ron Lyle, Frank Bruno, Tim Witherspoon, Michael Moorer, Earnie Shavers, Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks, Renoldo Snipes, Michael Dokes, Jimmy Ellis, Earnie Terrell.

Sorry but Wlad beats all those dudes....maybe you give Shavers a puncher's chance but #1 he's a righty and #2 he's TINY.

For Wlad to be a great he needs to unify and defend the titles a couple times and he's going to need some actual rivals, so far it's just Sam Peter and he disposed of him pretty easy.....David Haye, Odlainer Solis, and Alexander Povetkin should be good names for his record.
Lyle, you always make good arguments and it's hard to find fault in them cuz Wlad DOES win... and he KOs these guys...

I'd have loved to see Wlad fight Lewis... Not even a prime Lewis. Lenox would light him up and I'm not even a Lewis fan.

I'm hard on Wlad... I know I am, but I expect more from my HW div. Where have our large, fast, quick handed, high output bigmen gone? I just have an issue believing that THIS is the best out there. Look at heaveys of the past that would fucking FIGHT eachother for christ's sake. Granted that many of Tyson's early wins work against tomato cans but I hate watching the slow plodding HWs of today fight.

This is said EVERTIME Wlad has a fight... I wish there was some type of dynamic fighter out there that would dethrone this kid.

Wlad is downright INFURIATING to watch. I watch cuz I feel like I must... This is the most prestigious div isn't it? Not anymore.

Wlad couldn't get a paperview fight is he KOd all his following comp.

We as boxing fans sometimes see fights and say "He did his job"... "He won the fight" and the such.

What the fighters sometimes forget is that above and beyond anything sports is a form of entertainment and if the people go away then there's no point in you being there, fighting alone in a basement.

Every single time Wlad thew ONE PUNCH the crowd in Hamburg would cheer... It was hilarious... It was like, "thank god!"

Those people should find their way to a Katsidis, Vasquez, Marquez, Pavlik, Cotto or Margarito fight to see what it's supposed to look like.

...that engaging is not a BAD THING!

This is boxing and his pattycake style is fuckin rediculous.

He's a cowardly lion among sheep.
Whatever. I want to see if he can win a crowd over outside of Hamburg the "Boxing Meca" of Europe...
