I wanted to be a fireman!!!!!!![]()
A little late but ah well. My name is actually shomari. Live in sacramento, cali (love long walks in the park, moonlight dinners blah blah lol !!) Work for the state of california doing social work. Actually started off only really betting on boxing (and any damn thing else for awhile) stopped while i was semi-ahead but loved the sport. Continued watching wanted to get back into betting so i browsed the net for info to help influence my picks lol !!! Went to a couple other forums they were'n't bad but this was the best. Found out i really acutally knew nothing about the sport and wanted to jump from being just a casual fan, stuck around here learned and the rest is ....you know. Now i love boxing so much that aside from just friendly wagers (where i almost always bet on the underdog reguardless of who's fighting) got so wrapped up in the sport that i replaced betting with actually watching. Shit in the past i didn't even watch most of the fights just cared about the result, so i knew a little but no where near as much as i do now. Happily married to the best woman in the world (a lot say that but my baby is the best) three kids, usually can be found high and broke.

Whats up forum, Name's Jesse been getting reamed on my Cotto post lately but I been trying to make amends
My dad has been into boxing casually for a long time, but always seemed to watch most every better than average Mexican fighter, hmmm may explain some of my other posts huh, haha thats discussion for a boxing therapist I think.
I live in the South Bay / Los Angeles Area, 28 years old, not married, no kids, I spend most of my time at work (I'm an insurance agent/broker), I been trying to get my girls to do more of my work lately as the posts/threads have gotten better and better. Although I don't like to fight/argue I love to debate (again makes more sense on my posts now) and will usually play devils advocate.

Although its noit my first watching Pac-Man destroy every Mexican out there is very heartbreaking (especially cuz my girlfriend is part Filipina and she doesnt let me forget it)
Best Boxing moment
Might still get flack for this one, but Toni V. Cotto. Alot of it has to do with what Manny is doing to every Mexican fighter in the lighter divisions. It was nice to see one for us, although it was at the expense of another Latin/Hispanic fighter.
Great Thread by the way.
The key is Self-discipline.
Welcome noobs.
Best place for boxing on the net imo.
