William's might cause Pavlik trouble in the first couple of rounds but after that its 1 way trafic till he gets ko'ed.

Someone actually voted for Paul Willimas!

Is Paul Williams himself on the site, because I have no explanation for who else could possibly perceive any othe outcome than Pavlik by KO.

It would be nice if you could post on how you think Williams will beat Pavlik.

Absolutly everything in me says pavlik wins very very easy, but i have to wonder what the hell it is in pavlik that williams see's that makes him think he has a chance, pavlik isn't the greatest boxing wise but he is good at what he does, and easy to underestimate visually. The smart pick has got to be pavlik. But this fight interests me, i want to see what is up williams sleeve. It better be a bat or brick.

    Willams has great speed
, he is also a south paw who is busy. Pavlik if he is smart should try to keep him around for at least 6 rounds. Only reason being a possible Calzaghe fight. Williams would be a great tune up.

Whoever is handling Williams really dropped the ball here. If he wanted to he could be unified champ at 154 by this time next year, or keep B level talent at bay and hold onto his WW strap.

One thing that will definately help Williams is his reach which is absolutely ridiculous, if I'm not mistaken it's longer than most heavyweights. I can see where Williams could convince himself that he has a chance and in all honesty he may grab a few rounds early against Pavlik because of his workrate, but I'm going with Pavlik late stoppage. I'd say Williams lasts til the 10th or 11th round. Hard to say really with this much of a jump up in weight.

See one the other hand Pavlik could land one or two really hard rights and put Williams on guard all night and get set up for a early k.o. I would prefer mid rounds to get some work in on a south paw.

I've never seen Williams put his guard up, I'm not sure he knows how, he just punches more. I've seen Williams get caught with some real bombs and he just keeps punching. Not saying that's gonna win him the fight, but it should put off the inevitable.

Dont even get me started. Williams is well over 6 feet. He has a 81 inch reach. He fought at middle weight before and won. He is probablly the only welter -light middle that can beat mayweather. Why are you not this pissed about Hatton taking Pacman?
