One thing that will definately help Williams is his reach which is absolutely ridiculous, if I'm not mistaken it's longer than most heavyweights. I can see where Williams could convince himself that he has a chance and in all honesty he may grab a few rounds early against Pavlik because of his workrate, but I'm going with Pavlik late stoppage. I'd say Williams lasts til the 10th or 11th round. Hard to say really with this much of a jump up in weight.
See one the other hand Pavlik could land one or two really hard rights and put Williams on guard all night and get set up for a early k.o. I would prefer mid rounds to get some work in on a south paw.
I've never seen Williams put his guard up, I'm not sure he knows how, he just punches more. I've seen Williams get caught with some real bombs and he just keeps punching. Not saying that's gonna win him the fight, but it should put off the inevitable.
