Does Fraud really think his coming forward with his hands down and lunging with upper cuts will work against a fighter like Taylor? Hell no. It's going to get him knocked out. The only reason it hasn't happened yet is because Fraud has faced pure bums who couldn't take advantage of his bad habits. Taylor will. He's the better fighter. No kidding VD, ask anyone who knows anything if lunging in with uppercuts from the outside is a good idea. Some might argue it has some uses, but certainly not the with the frequency Froch uses them. He has so many bad habits it's almost comical to think people would pick him in this one. An Olympian who beat Hopkins, drew with Wright and gave Pavlik his two closest fights to date, almost won both. He operates on an entirely different level.

that is where you are both actually wrong. If you watch the Robin Reid fight he bearly threw any uppercuts which is his best punch. His range is a form of defence though and he figures that out pretty quick in a fight. He isnt throwing too many wasteful shots, just hard stinging ones that wear you down.

The reason why he threw so many lunging uppercuts in his last fight was that the Pole didnt really do much back and he wanted it to end with a big punch. Before that fight Carl prepared for a very long time and said he had his best ever camp for his hardest fight Inkin, when he didnt get it he just wanted to put on a performance for the fans, which he did. He even said he wasnt at his best boxing skills for that fight and rightfully so, the Pole was awful.

You will see in his next fight he wont be throwing too many untidy shots, unless he knows that hes going in for the kill, those uppercuts really do wear fighters down, and slow them down drastically. If you get hit with one of those, you wont want to be hit again.

I really wanted the Inkin step up because that really was the best possible match ip for both men at this stage of their careers. Its a shame it never happenend, either way, a top ten fighter will HAVE to fight him next anyway.
