Bunce kinda went nuclear when they put him on TV didnt he. He knows his stuff alright but it kinda gets lost in all the hysterics, bulging veins and slobber coming out of his gob.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

It's a great little show especially considering they promote fights that are taking place off Setanta. The Willaims-McDermott interview was great.
You would never see that with something on Sky. Who remembers Ringside?
Bunce clearly LOVES boxing. And knows more than any other pundit on the box (just check out the Sky boxing teams P4P lists ()).
Steve was my Tennis Partner on a Tuesday. Ive watched Him grow up from Boy into a Man. Always Terrific company and a Great Kid who knows his Stuff make no mistake, couldnt play Tennis.

I must say I quite like Buncey as a pundit, although he does on occasion let his mouth talk himself into a corner.
He's got bags of personality, he'll ask the real questions, and knowledge-wise he's good too. However, as many others have said, dumb time to put it on, and as I can't get Sky+, gonna find it hard to see it.
haha quality stuff mate!!
I met him on my first Saddo's assignment (Harrison v Williams press conference in London) a few years ago and got a pic with him etc and he was sound as a pound.
Saw him at the York Hall for Haye v Fragomeni and he recognised me and took time out to say..."ello Fella"
Top fella and he seriously knows his fight history.

Bunce is a massive personality, great for boxing. People who slag him for slagging off sake are pathetic.
I may not be the most qualified to speak on Bunce given me only having seen him a handful of times, but he always seems to come off as a bit of an ass to me. Never more then the Wlad-Thompson fight where he was disappointed in the fight and rightfully so. But after the fight he was just childish imo, maybe it was in haste or disgust, but I was a bit perturbed when he blamed it all on the American heavyweights, and that no American fighter should get a title fight for 5 years, they are all gutless, spineless ect. Those were his words.
Now, I admit that the heavyweight boxers in America have been pretty lacking lately, but who the hell is an English sports pundit to talk about gutless, spineless heavyweights making for boring fights? Excuse me, Audley, Danny, Skelton, Sprott ect. The British heavyweights are none for the better at all. It just bothered me. America has some exciting heavyweights out there, just the talent level isn't high. Britain doesn't have any talented heavyweights either but the difference is the majority of them suck to watch imo. This is true for the heavyweight division in general, so for him to single out American heavyweights just kind of pissed me off, thought it was unprofessional.
But I can see how someone like that who obviously has a passion (although at times misguided imo) can grow on someone. After all, just tune in any Wednesday or Friday to watch ESPN2 and see Teddy Atlas. I can't imagine how he is recieved overseas, it can't be good. But he's someone who FNF just would not be the same without.
