In fairness clubber, Limewire isn't set up for organ playing inquiries. <--- (I think there are 2 jokes in that...you decide)
I just checked and is working. I've had to dump it before and reinstall as was having similar probs. and it cleared it right up.

Are you using the built in Windows firewall? What version of Limewire?
Sometimes programs will try to connect using a particular tcp/ip port, and your firewall allows connections through that port only. Then the program (Limewire or whatever) when one port doesn't work, it will try another port. It may be that your firewall allows connections only through one port. It depends on how your firewall is set up. That sort of problem is usually temporary.
Just a guess.
