Thanks CMM! I hadn't seen that yet. It's not like I needed any more anticipation for the fight. I'm already a nervous wreck. One thing I'll say though: Not only are Cotto and Margarito both great fighters and great champions... but they're also both great human beings with good family values and great stories to tell. That was a great "countdown".

You don't know the half of it. I've always been a nervous wreck before the big PR-Mexico championship fights. I'd have to say the Tito-Vargas fight reached new heights. It doesn't help that my brothers and close pals are just as "boxing-crazy" as I am, and extremely aware of the historical PR-Mexico rivalry.

The joke around the family is that my sister-in-law is offering to stand by with tranquilizer darts, should our celebrating (or whatever) get out of hand.

I know just about to watch it agin even bigger fan of Tony now made me wipe a tear to hear him taliking about his brother, Great to see the other side of Cotto too. This is the one fight that i want there to be no loser!!!!

Nice to see two fighters pumping up the fight itself....not a silly circus of trashtalk, funny dances, group performances of old remade christmas songs, empty threats, all just to hug in the ring afterwards. This countdown was very well done, i'll be happy to see either guy win, i'm about to watch it again as well..

.......very,very nice stuff Mick.I actually was so p.o'd at myself last night as I missed the airing But just got my fix.I am so amped up for next weekend and after watching that 24/7,I am almost ready to go a few myself.........Think I'll go have a talk with my neighbor about taking my parking spot,AGAIN!......Lol. I have nothing but respect for these two fighters.....love this match-up and yes "Viva Margarito"

Saw it Saturday night and I gotta say how great the show was, I really like Tony's down to earth non chelant attitude, he lives life kicks ass every few months and go's about his business...

I am extremely ashamed of myself for not recognizing Margarito as a great fighter sooner, I just couldnt see past the hate at the time... But I say it again to see Cintron blast Tony with those rights and uppercuts just to see Margarito laugh and turn the heat up and eat Cintron alive made a believer out of me

I said it in another thread, these forums will be crazy this weekend.

The energy level is already starting to build for this. I can see it in everyone's posts. Saturday the excitement will overflow.

I remember back a few months ago, someone asked about what fight they wanted to see, I said Cotto vs. Margarito is my super fight. Two of my top 5 favorite fighters going at it. I almost have this sick feeling in my stomach now, I guess they call it anxiety? LOL

I refuse to pick a favorite. Both guys represent all that is good about this sport. Two true warriors, ready to do battle.
