A little while ago alot of people we're talking about Joe Calzaghe being just too experienced for Pavlik at this stage of his career and it would be horribly wrong if Pavlik took on the Welshman. I am one of the people who thought Hopkins beat Calzaghe. Now people are coming out of the trees talking about when Pavlik K.O.'s Hopkins, or dominates Hopkins, it's going to send a clear picture to Calzaghe, he's the real deal and bla bla bla.

The only postive thing i see regarding this match up is if Kelly Pavlik can KO Hopkins then he can say beat Hopkins more impressively and it might set up Kelly Pavlik vs Joe Calzaghe but say if Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr both win ? then we will see Roy Jones Jr vs Bernard Hopkins rematch believe it or not it could happen.

Hops power may be uner rated cuz I think Joe has a more reliable chin than Pav and he was dopwn in the opener . Also Joe has a superb boxing brain and it was a very close fight he shared with Hopkins. Pavlik comes in , in straight lines and it may be easier for Hopkins to use his experience in there .

Pav may be underestimating what Hop has left . If he expects this to be a quick win and to look good then I think he is wrong . Its going 12 and its gonna be ugly .

how was the cal vs hopkins fight close i saw it one way the whole fight and i figured thats how it would go to much speed for hopkins b hop put cal down because he was off blance not because of power and like i said this time pavlik is the presure fighter with great range he comes in put keeps his distance
