Why do americans hate Ricky Hatton ?

I think most Hatton fans that go are mainly made up of Football fans and were acting like they were at a football match but most of them wont know who someone like Miguel Cotto is. They watch boxing only when Hatton fights.

Americans are insanely nationlistic, yet most hate Bill O`Riely and vote Democrat. Just doesnt make sence, booing anthems are common place here and we take pride in it, just as the American did booing the Canadian anthem in zat hockey game.

The ref had nothing to do with it so stop the nonsense... Ricky was 10x worse and so was the Ref in the KT fight, but after that fight Ricky was hailed a God and national hero, but all of a sudden Floyd is Satan and the american judging system was crap...
