My dad could run like the wind. I'm slow as shit, and I wanted desperately to be fast.. I even worked with sprinting coaches. I got faster, but was never as fast as he was. He had it, I didn't.

Not to mention it can also be HOW you train. Like my old weight training coach used to say! "You wanna work hard, but working hard alone ain't enough. You wanna work better, you wanna work SMARTER"...
One can work too hard.
Training smart is the way.
I've trained like an animal for long periods for dedent results. Lately I've trained less in different ways for short periods and seen much more.
