For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Salvador Sanchez!!! The guy was fierce he was tiny but he was just nonstop action and threw punches from everywhere. Sal was a great fighter eventhough he was cut down in his prime....but look what he did in his short career which was just starting to peak.
Sanchez could have gone on to fight JC Sr. and other great fighters...it's scary to think what he could have accomplished.

If I had to vote just 1 it's simple... JCC.
Here's my top 10 Mexican fighters.
1. JCC
2. 'Finito' Lopez
3. Olivares
4. Sanchez
5. Roman
6. Erik
7. Canto
8. Saldivar
9. MAB
10. 'Chiquita' (Vastly overlooked in the All-Times lists)
Honors: JMM, Zaragoza, Zarate, Efren, Pintor, Medina, 'Santa Tokyo', 'Cobrita', Arce, Zurita, Kid Azteca, Rafa, Izzy, Herrera, Montiel, Mijares, Solis, Cazares, "Yaqui", Arizmendi, "Raton", Villasana.
*Depending how JMM, Mijares, Montiel, Rafa & Izzy close out their respective careers I think either one could potentially slip into the top 10.

I have Zarate somewhere between 11-20.
Not really sure where.
I just feel that his career at championship level aside from the Zamora unification bout (which a lot of people don't know it was) was a bit short compared to others with longevity. Tho his opposition is as good as it could be so there's a plus side...
