I see Mayweather coming out of retirement now for 2 reasons!

    1. Margarito looked very beatable when Cotto boxed him.
2.Mayweather won't be able to resist when people start saying Tony would beat him (which they will).

I would rather see De La Hoya fight him but after last night I don't see it, Oscar is getting on a bit now and I don't think he would want some PITBULL chasing him round the ring for 12 rounds. That said I've never known Oscar back down to a fight before and I wouldn't write Oscar off. I certainly don't see him stopping Oscar!

I hope he fights Oscar and pounds him into retirement. He deserves the match.

It's 100% De la Hoya for a number of reasons.

#1 Oscar brings more money to a fight with Toni IMO
#2 This fight is something where both guys can prove how great they are
#3 Toni is still vulnerable to being outboxed so a fight with Mayweather is not the right choice as Floyd can easily do better than Miguel in regards to movement and defense.

I think after watching the Cotto-Margarito fight that Miguel proved he could really pair up nicely vs Mayweather Jr. as he showed he could move well and still land with power and accuracy

I would like to see Tony get a nice payday against De la Hoya. But do you think Oscar would want any part of Margarito?

I don't think so BUT money talks and I think Oscar will take the fight because who else is there for him to fight? I guess Shane Mosley would try to fight Tony and might be able to pull out a decision win vs him.

I think any of the choices look good. But personally I think he should avenge his loss to Williams. An aggresive Margarito jumping out of the gate would steamroller Williams a 2nd time around, IMO.

Oscar has already said that in no circumstances will he fight Margarito. He claims that he doesn't want his last fight to be against another Mexican as the Mexican fans will hate him.

    None of the above

cotto is clearly deserving of a rematch and marg should do the honorable thing and allow him one.

I genuinely now see a cotto-margarito-williams triangle of fights now just like it was barrera-morales-pacquiao and i can genuinely say it excites the hell out of me

In a perfect world for me, Margarito will win the De La Hoya sweepstakes and utterly DESTROY Oscar in December. Then after that, he should have a rematch with Paul Williams and take his belt. Then, take on Andre Berto and completely unify the division. At this point it would be IMPOSSIBLE for Floyd to avoid Tony! OR he can just claim he's ACTUALLY retired.

It would need an inspired effort from Margarito to pull this off but last night showed me he can do anything..

I cannot picture Arum putting Margarito anywhere near Williams again. He knows what the risk is against Williams and will want to keep that belt in house.

You might see a Cotto rematch or a fight against the Clottey/Judah winner.

Really? I don't see it that way. If you recall, Margarito started slow against Williams, who built up an early lead with his busy workrate. But in the end, Margarito was beginning to pick up steam, and probably won the majority of the last few rounds... but is wasn't enough to give him the decision. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

I just see Arum avoiding Williams because Williams takes away much of the advantages that Margarito has over everyone else. His size and punch output offer more than what Margarito offers, his chin might not be as good, but Margarito will not test it. The only advantages I see Margarito having are Stamina and Determination.
