I don't think so.
Miguel was enduring severe punishment after round 8 and I feel that had he been affected by that mentally he would have taken a knee in the eighth.

I don't think that would have affected him. I think the commentators really missed the ball on this one, he was being caught up to and hurt from a lot earlier than the tenth, there was nothing quick about the finish.

I disagree with all of you.... of course it was mental, Cotto was not pushing his punches at the end and they still all had snap on them, not to mention he was still moving and his knees were not buckling.. I'm not saying he wasnt exhausted but what prizefighter isint during a grueling battle... Cotto surrendered end of because he was done walking thru hell
Margarito snatched his heart and ate Cotto's will

I want to see Floyd loose so bad for a long time but hearing people say over and over that Floyd is completely afraid of Cotto and others makes me wanna root for Floyd. I just can't see Cotto and others doing the job to beat him. Cotto gets exposed in every fight and we are yet to see Floyd show clear flaws/weaknesses. You really think Cotto can totally beat Floyd? I wish I could say "Yeah" but I doubt Cotto, Tony, or anybody out there can do the job. After Castillo II, ODLH (split decision, how convicing), and Hatton, I can't see anybody else do it.
