Where has Berto shown anything except at least very good power? He has knocked out 19 of 22 opponents, His second and fouth fight were both UD, but since then only his fight with Rivera has gone the distance, and that flash knockdown in that fight is the only round I've seen him lose this far, and probably in his entire career. He has Lennox Lewis salivating over his potential. He's probably the fastest guy in the 147 pound division(Zab is up there, but he's 30, and doesn't throw combinations like Andre) He has had good middle stage fights with Rivera, Estrada(who went 12 rounds wiht MOsley, and it took 10 rounds for Cintron to KO him), and Rodriguez isn't a bad fighter either. He is fighting Forbes which should be a better evaluation of his skill level.

I don't see why people don't see his style as very dangerous for Cotto, he is resilient, he has great stamina, he DOES throw with power, and his most dangerous punch, the uppercut, is the punch Cotto is most susceptible to. I have acknowledged he needs a few more fights to face guys like Cotto, but I can't believe people are being this hard on this guy, I mean Hopkins had barely turned pro by 24, Cotto had foughten Torres and Corley and nobody at that point would have thought he would beat Judah or Mosley down the road because they had seen just how vulnerable he was. Berto has shown way less vulnerability and even more upside IMO.

Andre Berto has never been in with a good opponent thats why he has that KO ratio.
