Who cares, Haye has bought more attention to the Heavyweights in a few months than Dr Boringhammer has done in years thats why... Heavyweight division histoically speaking has been rich in traditon, lineage and to have an absolute snoozer presideing over it is a good enough reason..

There were very few HW Jones said he was willing to fight.

I don't like him because he runs his mouth without proving anything yet. Imagine IF he wins his first heavyweight fight, his mouth would need icy/hot cause it would be running all day!

Also, each time he confronts Wlad he's a dick about it. Wlad is the one that is very professional regardless of his performance in the ring.

Do u think maybe the fact that Roy jones started at 160 and probably naturally weighs 180 or so has something to do with it. Haye is 4 inches taller anf 50 pounds heavier, of course he would feel more comfortable fighting big guys.

I can assure you there is no crazy love for Klit stateside, as a matter of fact I cant remember a Heavyweight champ since Larry Holmes that is more scutinized than Klit, and IMO its rightfully so

I think the hate is by people who haven't really followed his career and now read the quotes and don't like what they read.

What needs to be realised is that Haye says most things tongue in cheek but some because of their lack of knowledge of the fighter take everything literally.

So I would put it down to some peoples ignorance and lack of boxing knowledge.

Anyway Haye seemed very popular at the o2 Arena last time out and as my mate said he's now got 20,000 fans Welsh and English cos he was sensational.

I like haye, i actually think a lot of boxing fans do (most casual fans have no clue who he is) he's exciting in the ring so on and so forth. It's what he doing now especially in comparison to what he's done that people don't like not so much him. I think a lot of people are sick of hearing from the guy instead of seeing him.
