I like Haye, he's the only real bit of talent in the HW division with a chance of clearing it up.

Surely we will only know this when he fights someone in the heavyweight division (top 10)I like Haye, he's the only real bit of talent in the HW division with a chance of clearing it up.

Bet your life that Haye will be better at Heavy than he was at Cruser.
Talented yes but proven noI would say Haye is the most talented boxer in the HW division right now.
The big question is what happens when Haye get hit on the chin by a 16st+ guy.
David Haye is one of the most talented boxers at Curser or Heavy but he has massive weaknesses and until he proves he can get past his weak chin and suspect stamina you cant say he is going to rule the roost at Heavy
I say he has shown great qualities but has not yet shown us he is a great fighter hope he does

While your point has good intentions it falls short of being relevant as Roy Jones Jr. was risky life and limb just fighting at heavyweight and therefore it wasn't expected that he was going to fight the superheavyweights.
David Haye is a heavyweight in the cruiserweight division he isn't moving up multiple divisions he isn't really risking anything. It's more like Miguel Cotto moving up from 140 to 147 and saying "I'll fight anyone"
Balls
....I think we're playing some revisionist history here porky. It was known Roy was going to fight Ruiz and that was basically it. There were rumors about a fight with Byrd but still....he wasn't going to fight Valuev or anyone else BECAUSE he would be risking too much. People still worried about him fighting Tyson.....and Tyson wasn't a top 10 heavyweight at that point in time. If he fought Vitali he would have been seriously or permenantly injured.
And comparing Haye to him is ridiculous because Haye has basically always been a heavyweight he's just been in the cruiserweight division if he was only going ot fight one heavyweight he'd be called a pussy because he's a true heavyweight. Roy didn't weigh enough to be a real heavyweight anyway 193.
This is ridiculous.....comparing Haye to Roy Jones Jr. that is insane
