Michael Nunn - Very Good not Elite

Mike Mccullum- very good not Elite

Iran Barkley - very good not Elite

    Tim littles - average

Calzaghe would have beat these four quite easily

    ----------------
    Charles Williams - average

Roy Jones Jr - made Toney look silly, he ,ay have fought someone elite, but when he did he made him look like a schoolboy hahahah

Montell Griffin - err lost UD , and lost again UDevery round on one scorecard

Vasiliy Jirov - good prospect, nothing more beat a shot holyfield and another poor heavyweight in chageav

    Evander holyfield - SHOT

John Ruiz - this man is a waste of time, he wouldnt have last 5 mins with either Lewis or tyson

Hasim Rahman - this man isnt good, he got lucky with a punch, made his name, then has done nothing ever since,

Samuel Peter - why put this man down when he beat Toney twice lol hhahaha

JT has had fights from Middle to Heavy. He's never run from anyone one in or outside of the ring. He's been around for years and has had more fights than any other top level fighter for probably over 10 years. (With the exception of a one Mr. Chavez).

There was only a small handfull of fighters he didn't fight and, well, i dont know how Calzaghe would of done agaist Toney but im pretty sure that Eubank and Benn would of both got a spanking. In their primes.

Benn maybe, you never know whats going to happen with him

Eubank, would have beaten Tony no question.

And Tony Prime, wouldnt even come close to Mr Calzaghe

Okay fair coment but what exactly would Eubank have on Toney?

James would be in his face all night. You must of saw how Watson had Eubank in all sorts of trouble. That game plan has James Toney written all over it and then some. Plus James is as tough as Eubank if not tougher.

Eubank would of lost badly IMO.

Clazaghe..? Like i say, im not sure. He is a bloody good figher.

Benn is the picture perfect fighter for James Toney to stomp the crap out of! Hooks and Uppercuts never anything straight never trying to box....all those big punches would slide right off Toney's defense and he'd counter him with accurate power punches and just demolish Benn.....it's a shame that fight was never made.

Eubank would pose more problems due to his mobility and handspeed but he wouldn't do as well as Roy Jones Jr. did vs him....it was very hard for Roy to land at first.

Calzaghe couldn't carry Toney's jock! First off there's not much on Joe's punches there are only a lot of punches which aren't straight, they are hooks, not many crosses or jabs and to beat Toney you have to throw straight quick shots and know how to box. Joe wouldn't stand and trade like Benn would but he wouldn't be moving all the time like Eubank either. I think Toney in his prime is one of the best fighters P4P of all time.

James Toney took risks and didn't just fight youngsters who weren't tested and old guys whose best days were behind them.

James Toney fought and beat better competition than Joe Calzaghe IS much less what Joe has fought

I normally like to welcome newcomers to the forum and cut them some slack, but you, my friend, obviously don't know a damn thing about boxing. Be quiet and learn something about the sport.

its just an opinion, doesnt mean you have to get all upset about it and getting into a hissy fit

To imply Joe is in another league from Toney is borderline crimal.

Michael Nunn - Very Good not Elite - He was p4p ranked.. if you think that someone can be ranked p4p at any time and not be elite then your crazy

Mike Mccullum- very good not Elite - Thats just as you said opinion.. of which at present i do not value yours..

Iran Barkley - very good not Elite - The man beat hearns x2.. had a fight of the year with duran, fought greats like benn, toney, nunn - hes elite

Tim littles - average - Undefeated and dangerous and look at the way toney still took him apart.. proved why he is not elite because toney was on the elite level unlike little who was very good.

Calzaghe would have beat these four quite easily

Maybe.. we will never know. frankly nunn and barkley fought far far far better competition..Plus lets have this right here.. if your telling me toney isnt great and your using calzaghe as a measuring stick you must be out of your mind.. okay.. so he has fought maybe two/three legit tough challengers.. and i cant be mad at his match making of late.. but the man wasted ten years of his prime fighting guys that werent world class level.. toney fought the real fighters while joey c wasted his prime years away.

    ----------------
Charles Williams - average - Dangerous fight, very good fighter, Natural light heavyweight.. fought good competition.. light heavyweight titlist..
No man who is average wins a world title

Roy Jones Jr - made Toney look silly, he ,ay have fought someone elite, but when he did he made him look like a schoolboy hahahah
    - Are we or are we not talking competition.. yes we are.. and no he didnt look silly.. he was steadily beaten over 12 rounds.. thats if you have even seen this fight.

Montell Griffin - err lost UD , and lost again UDevery round on one scorecard
Okay.. so if we are using the measuring stick of one Joeseph calzaghe.. we'll just go ahead and say that joe is not undefeated because robin reid was robbed against him.. And watch them.. they are on youtube.. at least one of the griffin fights.. toney was robbed twice.

Vasiliy Jirov - good prospect, nothing more beat a shot holyfield and another poor heavyweight in chageav- Oh nothing more then that!? Ha.. I mean on top of that he couldnt have been anything more because he wasnt an undefeated world titlist and he didnt win a gold medal in the olympics beating antonio tarver in the process who was at the time the number one amatuer in the world.. Some more facts for you.. you get all this knowledge for your troubles see.. worth it!

Evander holyfield - Great fighter, went on to earn a world title shot after this and still has only been stopped by bowe and toney.. toney manged to do what lewis, tyson and ALLL the rest could not..

John Ruiz - this man is a waste of time, he wouldnt have last 5 mins with either Lewis or tyson - No not 5 minutes because he didnt beat the likes of Mcline, galota, rahman, oquendo, holyfield, and even in his losses he ducked noone of all heavyweights.. and a guy moves up from middleweight puts on a counter punching masterclass and beats him and thats worth nothing..

Hasim Rahman - this man isnt good, he got lucky with a punch, made his name, then has done nothing ever since, - Lol.. You dont get lucky with one punch.. You see an opportunity and take it.. He knocked out the great lennox lewis and has fought in both winning and loosing efforts against all the best heavyweights in the world past and present and has earned world titles.. of course hes worth a damn..

Samuel Peter - why put this man down when he beat Toney twice lol hhahaha[/quote] Just like i said.. Robbed the first fight.. and hes a world titlist, good heavyweight, fought top guys..

And even after all this the plain matter is 11 world titlists.. you cant call any of them average.. because they had world titles.. its ridiculous to call them average. and all the while you talk about joe calzaghe as the measuring stick.. when what has joe calzaghe done?!.. In two weight classes.. only one fight at heavyweight which.. yes of course it had to be .. i had him loosing! this is a crazy arguement.
