ye but i dont personally think cotto hits that hard, his an accumulation puncher not a one punch ko artist, and when your boxing of the back foot as he was it was near impossible for him to stop margarito the way he would with most other fighters. wereas the likes of tito, hearns etc could hit stupidlly hard , and i dont care how good his chin is , the human body can only take a certain force to the head before it will shut down to protect itself

Hearns is arguably the hardest hitter to ever grace the welterweight division. His power could have penetrated Margarito's chin. Plus we all saw how Paul Williams height and boxing ability gave Tony trouble, albeit his tying up and constant throwing of punches himself helped too.

Just thought of another powerhouse at welterweight, Henry Armstrong!
Now I bet he coulda hurt Margarito.

Shows how good of fighter Margarito has become though, that we have to sit here and think up literally LEGENDS, to find someone who could stop him.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

hearns was a freak of nature thou he was still stopping people at cruiserweight !!

he has an iron chin but his definatley beatable, and to me a loss is a loss by ko or points
