Demers won this far as i'm concerned...Miranda needed the 10th to take it but didn't ...but the 2 local judges give Miranda 95-94 each? While American judge gives it to Demers. Weird. Def. not a home town decision.
Oh well. Demers wasn't exciting to watch, but I think he got robbed on the lost SD.

The fight was close, but I had Demers winning UD. To lose a SD...I bet he's feeling robbed. Even more so when he rewatches it tomorrow.Bad decision. Not a robbery.

It was nip & tuck with much different styles.Demers boxed nice early if not ....assertivly, but after he got dropped he seemed to step it up and committing with power.You could flip a coin on that one.Really, Im surprised he did not "get" the decision in hometown.The fight was close, but I had Demers winning UD. He made the mistake of opening up by the 7th or so, for his jab and occasional combos and keeping Miranda at distance were working. He was outscoring. I thought he was toast when he opened up and would get Ko'd by Miranda as the right started landing...but like you say, he rebounded and landed some good power shots himself and I believe took the 10th. Ah well. Seen worse decisions then this.
Demers is a decent boxer, but not gonna be nuttin' special.
